Executive Director Peg Reagan was assisted at the booth by Orange County NC Commissioner Barry Jacobs, Calaveras County CA Supervisor Steve Wilensky, Washington County OR Commissioner Dick Schouten, Jefferson County WA Commissioner John Austin, Story County IA Supervisor Wayne Clinton, Washington County OR Commissioner Greg Malinowski, and Benton County OR Commissioner Linda Modrell. The Conservation Leaders Network distributed a variety of materials that show the economic benefits of natural resource conservation and protection. We also hosted, with Local Officials for Clean Water, a reception for pro-environment county officials during the conference. Snohomish County WA Council Member Dave Somers and Ramsey County MN Commissioner Victoria Reinhardt spoke about the EPA's clean water guidance and the Conservation Leaders Network's efforts to communicate with county officials.
