Protect Clean Water!!

The 1972 Clean Water Act has played a central role in maintaining and restoring clean water and healthy watersheds. The effectiveness of this act is threatened by decisions made by the Supreme Court; 2001 SWANCC vs. Army Corps of Engineers, and 2006 Rapanos vs. United States. Jan Goldman Carter, Senior Manager, Wetlands and Water Resources, National Wildlife Federation, will be addressing a group of Clean Water supporters at a reception in Washington DC on Sunday, March 4 from 4:30 to 6:00 p.m. All interested parties are welcome to attend. The event will be held at the Mourayo Restaurant, 1732 Connecticut Ave. NW.
